2019 Spring Recruitment

Spring recruitment formats vary depending on the type of sorority within the Panhellenic Council a student would like to join.

NPC Formal Recruitment is a two-weekend series of events. This mutual selection format is an opportunity for students to meet sorority members, ask questions, and define financial obligations, time commitments, and membership requirements. Participation in this particular recruitment format is limited to the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) member organizations of our Council. Organizations participating in this formal recruitment process are:

Alpha Gamma Delta

Delta Gamma

Gamma Phi Beta

Phi Mu

Phi Sigma Sigma

Sigma Delta Tau

Sigma Kappa

Zeta Tau Alpha

Alpha Chi Omega will participate in the first round of formal recruitment in order to introduce the organization to students, but will wait until the conclusion of recruitment to actively seek out new members. The organization will host a series of information sessions and interviews in order to determine the members of their founding class. Students can visit joinalphachiomega.org for a full listing of events, but the first few events are as follows:

  • Cookies with Consultants - February 14h - LSC 111 & February 15th CASC 411
  • Make an IMPACT with Alpha Chi - February 19th CASC MPR
  • Picture Yourself an Alpha Chi - February 28th CAC Hillel

Non-NPC member sororities within the Panhellenic Council will also be recruiting in the spring, but in a similar manner to how they recruited in the fall semester. This recruitment period will kick off with the Involvement Fair in January and end with invitations to join in early February. Meet the Sister events and other information sessions will be held in student centers and academic buildings on campus. Participating organizations in this type of format are:

Alpha Omega Epsilon - professional and social sorority of female engineering and technical science students

Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority

Phi Sigma Rho  - sorority for women in engineering and engineering technology

Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi - national Jewish sorority
